Intimacy with Christ

Something I heard today..“ Don’t outsource your intimacy with the Lord to someone else.”
Are you relying on church services, zoom meetings, YouTube, social gatherings and such to teach you the Word of God? Is this your ONLY source?
Have you been counting your time with these things as your lifeline to God Himself?
Therefore, neglecting the secret place where the intimacy with Jesus can be found. In that time alone with Him. Straight to the Father. After all, this is why He gave His life for us..
Hebrews 10:19
“And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.”
Get into the quiet place. With the Father Himself, One on One, sit at Jesus feet and let Him be your MAIN source. Your only Teacher.
Matt 23:8
“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.
It is in that intimacy, will the Church find the fulfillment and Power that is Christ Himself.
He is everything! Stop looking to fulfill loneliness, unhealed hurts or any other matter outside of Him.
Because it is even in these platforms, idols can be made.
Am I saying to forsake the assembly? No.
It is good for Gods people to gather.
1 Corinthians 14:26 says, "What then, brothers and sisters?
When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up."
Hebrews 10:25
“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
However, at what point did the church forsake it’s intimacy with the Lord in exchange for being spoon fed by men? For treating the gathering as a “social club” rather than with reverence and Holy Fear of God?
It is when the Church gets back to this intimacy with Christ, where we will be able to be connected to the TRUE Vine. Christ Himself, to be able to encourage and edify each other.
It is where the Church can come together and operate as it should. In intimacy with Jesus!
At what point did these platforms become idols therefore deceiving so many?
2 Tim 3:5
“They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!”
Get into Intimacy with JESUS Himself, read the Word for yourself. It is in the Secret Place where you will not be deceived and learn from the Creator Himself! Jesus is the Answer!
Go to Jesus!
